Hot Water Storage Tank - New Anodes
Yesterday we looked at anodes in need of replacement. Today I am highlighting new anodes, both thread-in and weld-in.Sacrificial magnesium anodes serve one roll in a Domestic Hot Water Storage Tank application. Anodes sacrifice themselves to protect the unlined areas of the tank, the inlets and outlets. Corroded inlets and outlets are the number 1 reason for premature tank failure. Regular anode replacement is imperative!
